There are 2 types of seat belts: Single-stage & Dual-stage seat belts.
Single-stage & Dual-stage Seat Belts
The seat belt stage is determined by the amount of wire connectors or plugs in the seat belt. This corresponds to the pyrotechnic gas chargers. If your seat belt has 1 wire plug connector, you have a single-stage seat belt. If your seat belt has 2 parts to it connected [pictured below] or a seat belt retractor with 2 total wire plug connectors, then you have a dual-stage seat belt repair and need a different service.
